What is SimulationMaps?

SimulationMaps is a suite of six specialist interactive maps and simulators, each focused on a category of phenomena most mainstream mapping tools ignore or underrepresent. We build physics-based disaster simulators (earthquakes, tsunamis, asteroid impacts, volcanic eruptions), large-scale historical maps (87,000+ shipwrecks, every reported UFO sighting), and research-grade climate projection tools.

Each map is built on its own open and authoritative datasets — USGS, NOAA, GEM, UKHO, NUFORC, Wikidata, OpenStreetMap — and rendered using Mapbox, Leaflet, and custom tile pipelines. The simulation layer is original work: flood modeling uses real elevation data, asteroid impact calculations follow published scaling laws, and volcanic eruption plumes model VEI-scaled ash dispersal.

Built by an independent developer. No ads, no tracking, no venture capital. Individual Pro access runs $12.99–$15.99 annual or $29.99 lifetime per map. The All-Access bundle covers the entire suite — current and future — for $79 lifetime.
